New track "Air So Free" out July 30th, 2021!!
The energetic new track by Cygnill is an anthem for anyone looking to move on from a dead end situation to pursue their dreams. Taken from his own experience of choosing to leave a stable and promising career for the uncertainty of the music industry, Cygnill puts the fear, anxiety, and dedication of such a decision into words over an entirely original beat blending reggae, alternative rock, and hip hop. "Air So Free" was written, performed, produced, and engineered by Cygnill.

EP "Touch the Sky" released April 30th, 2021
"Touch the Sky was the result of my collaboration with Matt Uhler (aka Uhlma Stnur). Matt and I initially met in 2017 as members of a surf rock band and have been working on various production projects together ever since. Between December 2020 and February 2021 three tracks stood out to us as songs we'd like to keep and release ourselves, and when they all happened to be finished and mastered within the same week we knew they were destined to be together as a 3 song EP." -Cygnill

Track 1 - Full as the Moon
"The opening track "Full as the Moon" began as a reggae jam, but once we had the initial pieces of the beat our vision was to make a song perfect for getting incredibly stoned too. For the verses we wanted to touch on the joy of the act of smoking and of the different strains themselves. As the pre chorus begins my voice starts to change in tone as the effects of the bud starts to set in, and once the chorus hits huge spacey vocals and a heavy bass synth rush in like the euphoria experienced when getting higher than you've ever been before."
Track 2 - Move on it's okay you're good
"Move on it's okay you're good" is a song that is meant to be self therapeutic. We all have the experience of regretting certain actions in our past. However, if we've done our best to become better people, make amends, and not make the same mistakes again, it is alright for us to move on and live without the weight of past missteps. We wanted to throw in our love of pop punk and surf rock with our reggae sound, and the result fit the mood of what we were trying to accomplish with this song."
Track 3 - Take a Chance
"In a way "Take a Chance" is an extension of "Move on it's okay you're good" conceptually. The song describes looking back on a friendship you had with someone in the past where you both were looking for something beyond friendship, but due to either personal insecurities or simply the fear of being honest about your feelings neither one of you took the chance to turn your friendship into something more. Often these friendships fade away, and "Take a Chance" is about the regret of being too scared to find out what could have been, and telling yourself that the next time somebody you have strong feelings for comes around, you'll take the risk of letting them know how you truly feel." - Cygnill
